"Perched." The galvanized steel body of the dragonfly has a protective high gloss clearcoat applied. The stand and the dragonfly's eyes will continue to rust over time, adding a beautiful protective coat that accentuates the sleek dragonfly torso. Rust removal and polishing available upon request.
